Updating Prices On The PhotoTeller Kiosk Using Back Office

Symptom:

Prices are appearing incorrectly on my PhotoTeller Kiosk

Cause:

1. Retail prices may be incorrectly setup in the Phototeller BackOffice (database)
2. There may be �Price Structures� (price discounts) or break up prices setup for the particular product.

Resolution: Using the following example:
If the product in question is a 4� x 6� digital print the incorrect price of $0.90c and the correct price is $1.20c

FIXING INCORRECT RETAIL PRICE
You will need to launch the PhotoTeller BackOffice Program
1. Select the �Start� button from the task bar.
2. Programs > Photo Teller > Photo Teller Back Office
3. Select the �Access Back Office� button to enter the Photo Teller Back Office.
4. You may need a staff password with a �high level� of access to enter Back Office (Ask your supervisor or contact Whitech).
5. Select Order Entry Back Office > Stock Entry menu option.
6. This will display the �Service Stock Line�
7. In the Product No. section type the product code �46� and press Enter
Example:
Product No. 46
Product Descripiton 4� x 6� Digital Prints
Current Cost: $0.20 (Exc Tax)
Retail Price: $0.90 (Inc Tax)
8. In the text field for �Retail Price� change $0.90 to $1.20
9. Click �Save Changes�


CHANGING PRICE STRUCTURES AND BREAK UP PRICES.
You will need to launch the PhotoTeller BackOffice Program
1. Select the �Start� button from the task bar.
2. Programs > Photo Teller > Photo Teller Back Office
3. Select the �Access Back Office� button to enter the Photo Teller Back Office.
4. You may need a staff password with a �high level� of access to enter Back Office (Ask your supervisor or contact Whitech).
5. Select Order Entry Back Office > Stock Entry menu option.
6. This will display the �Service Stock Line�
7. In the Product No. section type the product code �46� and press Enter
Example:
Product No. 46
Product Descripiton 4� x 6� Digital Prints
Current Cost: $0.20 (Exc Tax)
Retail Price: $1.20 (Inc Tax)
8. In the text field for �Retail Price� $1.20 may appear correct but there may be discounts or break up prices linked to this product
9. Select price structure
10. Check to see if you the �Discount Percent� is correct
11. If you do not offer a discount then set the field(s) to 0
12. Press Ok to exit this screen

Also

13. Select the �Break up Prices� button
14. This will display the �Break Up Prices� screen
15. Enter the first quantity break in the first �Quantity To� text box
16. Enter the percent to be discounted in the �Discount (%)� text field (this will automatically generate the �Unit Price per item�
17. Once all the desired price break ups have been entered select the �OK� button

18. Please PRESS �Save Changes� to make changes to this product.
