Changes to Imagine Version Numbering/Naming Convention

Another year, another chapter and we sure do have an exciting year ahead of us. Welcome back to all!!!!
We just wanted to bring to your attention that we will be changing the way we identify versions and how we bump up each version as we work through them via our sprints. This will not affect how we deploy the core versions to you nor will it affect how you and your team release them to your affiliated retailers. This is just a simple change in our naming conventions of the version we work on and progress with.
For the first version/sprint for Imagine Online, Kiosk and Mobile the version will be set therefore be known as 18.1. The first component of the version name will represent the year we are on and the second component will represent the sprint number for that year. So as an example, with this first sprint that we (Whitech) are working on, it will be known as 18.1 to compliment the year 2018 and as it is the first sprint that we are working on.
As per our usual practices, it does not necessarily mean that you will get this specific version or each and every version we work on released to your servers.
Again, there is no change on how any of the Imagine platforms are deployed to your servers or how you would distribute/release them to your retailers. It is just a new naming convention that we have decided to proceed with in this new and exciting year.
